  1. Create high poly model.
  2. Create low poly model.
  3. Low poly model UV unwrap
  4. Map baking (from high poly model)
  5. Texture and material painting

Create high poly model

  1. Create basic mesh structure

2. Add Multires modifier

Subdivision Type determines interpolation

3. Sculpt high poly model

Create low poly model

  1. Reuse original primitive or create new one overlapping with high poly shape.
  2. Add shrinkwrap modifier targeting high poly.

3. Subdivide low poly to obtain the desired resolution that can shape around the high poly model.

4. In shading tab select Low Poly and create new material and a blank non-color texture.

5. Select highpoly and CTRL select lowpoly.

6. Select normal texture in material.

7. Bake normal from selection.

8. Connect normal file to lowpoly material to test it.
