A smooth blend version of the model is created from the template for each LOD.


A new prefab is created from the standard character as a “smooth” version.

Prefab is edited to add the smooth LOD models.

Update material on each mesh.

Create an Avatar on each LOD object.

Create Animator on each LOD object assigning the animator from the assett and the LOD models for which you created an Avatar.
Replace all character parts and transforms.

Use filters for quicker access to the right mesh

Drop a prefab onto the scene and press “recalculate LODs”
